PROFILE

Kayoko Minglis: Registered Music Therapist/GDipMT/DipT(ECE)

Kayoko is a Registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association since 2005. During her long- term experience as an early childhood Educator, she realized that children respond to music time very well and after music time, some of them become calm easily and their behaviour with day-routine becomes positive. She realized that music can change children's life and there are very important applications, how, when and what kind of music apply to them.
Since Kayoko has been qualified as a music therapist, she has worked with a wide range of clients with people with special needs from children to elderly. She organizes some workshops so that people can become aware of the benefits of Music Therapy.
